About the Book

I Am the Christ is a book that was designed to explore the content of the Bible, bringing to light the importance of Jesus Christ.

I Am the Christ is a book that was designed to explore the content of the Bible, bringing to light the importance of Jesus Christ. In chapter one, the book focuses on what Jesus personally did during his earthly ministry that convincingly established him as the God of Genesis, the God of Creation, and therefore the Messiah.

In chapter two, the book explores Jesus’ ministry, revealing the traits that declared Jesus to be the Good Shepherd. Could he lead people into eternal life? Did he reveal the importance of coming to God in spirit and in truth? The Bible makes it clear that everyone who comes to God will come to God on God’s terms, or they will not come at all. The miracles of Jesus were designed to get people to look up and beyond this life. Jesus came from the realm above. He came from the supernatural. He came to lead those who would listen back into his realm.

In chapter three, Jesus demonstrated that he was the essence of the resurrection, the reality of the resurrection, and the fulfillment of the resurrection. In him was life, and anyone who turned to the Son of God would experience eternal life. Conversely, anyone who failed to accept Jesus’ provision for life would never enter the Kingdom of God. Their eternal destiny would be far different; it would be completely void of any aspect of life. To reject Jesus is to reject the resurrection of life.

In chapters four through six the Resurrection of the Dead and the Resurrection of Life are meticulously examined. Everyone has the right to know what lies ahead. Without that knowledge, how could an individual make an informed decision about their final destiny? The Resurrection of the Dead will not contain a single component of life. This is a place of death. There will be no life enhancing elements or life enriching moments. This is why Jesus warned people to stay away from this place. On the other hand, the Resurrection of Life will be full of life enhancing elements and life enriching moments. These two resurrections will be polar opposites. God will be the center piece of the Resurrection of Life, and the center piece of the Resurrection of the Dead will be the absence of God. There will be neither light nor hope in this terrible place. And there will certainly be no divine standards to govern one’s life because life will be over at that point. The dead need no standards for right living. They are dead to God. Their life is over. Being buried alive will take on a new and terrifying meaning.

Those who find themselves in heaven or hell will know that their final state was one of choice. No one will end up in either place by accident. Being eternally lost, eternally separated from God will be the by-product of many choices made over a lifetime. In the same manner, seeing the face of God will be the by-product of a deliberate set of choices.

The final chapter in the book outlines the importance of Jesus Christ. Why did he come to earth? Why did he leave eternity and enter into earth’s time? Why does the Bible declare that now is the time for salvation? Why is there salvation only in the name of Jesus? These important questions are thoroughly addressed in chapter seven.

No one should step into eternity without knowing where that first step will lead them. There is entirely too much at stake. This book was designed to assist anyone who truly wants to know the truth. What resurrection are you currently heading toward? As long as you still have one more breath to breathe, you are free to choose. One may accept Jesus as their savior, or one may reject Jesus’ offer of life. However, once you breathe your last breath, your freedom to choose is eternally gone. When a person’s life comes to an end, they have stepped out of earth’s time and beyond the opportunity to choose Jesus. Just as Jesus came and laid down his life within the framework of earth’s time, everyone must make their choice within the framework of earth’s time. Simply put, God’s offer of eternal life must be accepted now!

Remember, that there will come a time when there is no more time. In fact, the end of time will mark the beginning of eternity, and everyone will embrace their eternal decision. May God’s mercy overshadow your thoughts as you ascertain his divine provision for life.
